But, What did our India do with this resolution? It should have supported this resolution. Because everyone in India knows about the atrocity against Tamils in Sri Lanka. But our Indian government voted against this resolution. It clearly shows they are not going to worry about Sri Lankan Tamils as they did in the last five years. The resolution has not got the enough support and unfortunately it got failed. So United Nations are unable to take any action against Rajapakse.
During election campaign, this government told they will safeguard the Tamil people in Sri Lanka. But what they are doing now. They betrayed the entire tamil people. But people in India have poor memory and they will forget everything in the future if they announce some free policies like distributing TVs and etc. Wake up people. It must happen soon.
