Election Commission carefully watched this and said the government it is the violation of the election rule and ordered the government to cancel the reduction of ticket fare. With no other way, Government had done that. But now elections are over. If DMK really cares about the People welfare, they would have reduced the bus fare immediately after the elections. But they have never done that so far. So their only aim is getting Votes and seeking more Cabinets in the Central Government. Wake up people. Shout for your rights. Otherwise its easy for the goverment to rule dumb people.
Election dates were announced by the Election Commission last month. After the announcement of election dates, Government should not start any new schemes or give any benefits to the existing services. But ruling DMK who is known to be Rule breakers announced they had reduced the bus tickets fare by fifty percent and implemented it straight away
